Ken Smith Obituary, Death, Tadley Band Are Saddened By The Death Of Ken Smith

 We would like to express our deepest condolences to Kenneth Lee Smith’s family and friends on the occasion of his passing. Kenneth Lee Smith has passed away. Ken, who had reached the age of 75 at the time of his passing, passed away on October 31st, 2023, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital.

Ken had reached the age of 75 at the time of his dying. Ken’s wife of 54 years, Velma, his children Greg (Janice), Scott (Nena), and Brent (Sheri), and his grandchildren Jayce, Janessa, Alyssa, Haylee, Andrew, and Lauren will always remember him with affection.

He will be remembered forever. In addition, he is survived and missed by his mother, Shirley Smith, who was married to Lee Smith, his siblings Jeanette Smith of Vancouver, Terry Smith of Chatham, John Smith of Sauble Beach, Jeff Smith of St. Thomas, Donnalea Shearer of South Carolina, and Donnalea Shearer of South Carolina; his sister-in-law Katherine Hines of St. Thomas, who is married to Bob; and his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

There will be a memorial service performed in honor of Ken’s life on the following Saturday, November 25, 2023, from one to four o’clock in the afternoon. The event will take place at the Centennial Sports Club, which can be found at 43 Jonas Street in St. Thomas. Ken will be honored with the service that will be held.

Cremation is going to be the final disposition for Ken, as was previously decided. In lieu of sending flowers, we would be grateful if you would consider making a contribution to the Centennial Sports Club or to a charity of your choosing in Ken’s memory.
