Cameron A. Grassis, 13, of Londonderry NH passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday March 6, 2024 at his home. Cameron was born in Manchester, NH on October 16, 2010, a son of Ryan and Nikki (Olechna) Grassis. Cameron had resided in Londonderry for the past nine years, formerly living in Manchester.
Calling hours will be held on Monday March 11, 2024 from 4 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. She received a scholarship to attend McMaster University after high school and subsequently Ryerson University (now TMU).
On February 18, 2024, Cameron went away quietly after developing a rare form of acute myeloid leukemia. Her loving parents, Festus Palmer and Beverley Brown, as well as her sisters Carrol, Jacqueline, Tamara, Tricia, and brother Arnold, as well as her cherished daughters Carlene and Rebekah and priceless grandkids Makeda and Romeo, all survive her November 2, 1973, birthdate.
Her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles will all miss her. Petrona studied at West Toronto Collegiate Institute for her high school education after moving to Canada in 1989.
She had been attending Pentecostal Tabernacle (Regent Park) for a long time. Pastor Gaynor, Sister Gaynor, and Pastor Brown led her and her family in worship.
Before moving to Pathways to Education Canada to help nurture Pathways in over thirty communities across Canada, from Nova Scotia to Vancouver, Petrona, a Regent Park resident, was a mainstay of the original Pathways to Education Program of the Regent Park Community Health Centre. She worked as Manager of Evaluation and Reporting until her diagnosis in May 2023.
