The community of RR#7 Woodstock mourns the sudden and tragic loss of Joel Owen Wallace, who passed away as the result of an accident on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. In his 25th year, Joel leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever be held dear by those who knew and loved him.
Joel was the loving son of Owen and Pam (Brenneman) Wallace, who raised him with unwavering love and support. He was the cherished grandson of John and Linda Wallace of London and Keith and Marilyn Brenneman of RR#2 Tavistock. Joel’s family provided him with a foundation of love and stability that shaped the man he became.
A Life Well-Lived: Joel’s Passion and Achievements
Joel was a proud chicken farmer, finding joy and fulfillment in his work tending to his flock. In addition to his farming endeavors, Joel pursued his passion for excavation, owning and operating J. Wallace Excavating. His dedication and hard work were evident in everything he did, and he took great pride in his accomplishments.
Cherished Relationships: Joel’s Love and Friendship
At the center of Joel’s life was his beloved partner, Hailey Lance, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Their love was a source of strength and joy, providing Joel with unwavering support and companionship. Joel also cherished the bonds he shared with his extended family, including aunts, uncles, and cousins, who brought laughter and camaraderie into his life.
A Life of Adventure: Joel’s Favorite Pastimes
Joel found happiness in the simple pleasures of life, whether he was out on his boat fishing or tearing up the trails on his snowmobile with his dad and friends. These moments of adventure and camaraderie brought him immense joy and allowed him to create cherished memories that will be treasured by those who shared in his adventures.
A Celebration of Life: Honoring Joel’s Memory
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock St. N. Tavistock, on Sunday from 1-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the East Zorra Mennonite Church, 16th Line, on Monday, March 11, 2024, at 11:00 am, with Pastor Harold Schlegel officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
