Geneva’s life was one of dedication and service. She lent her talents to Don’s Bi-Rite in Bloomfield, Missouri, and the laundry department at the Bloomfield Nursing Center. Her commitment to her work reflected her strong work ethic and her desire to contribute to her community.
At the heart of Geneva’s life was her unwavering faith. A member of the Bible Tabernacle in Bloomfield, Missouri, she found solace, guidance, and community within her congregation. Her faith illuminated her path, offering strength and comfort in times of trial.
A Legacy of Love and Family
Geneva’s greatest joy was found in the warmth of family bonds. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, whether it was gathering around for card and board games or preparing her famous dumplings in the kitchen. Her home was a sanctuary of love and laughter, where memories were woven and hearts intertwined. On September 23, 1967, Geneva embarked on a new chapter of her life, exchanging vows with Arthur “Bud” Vaughn in Essex, Missouri. Together, they shared a journey marked by love, companionship, and unwavering devotion. Although parted by death on December 30, 2012, their love continues to endure, a testament to the enduring power of their bond.

She is survived by her five sons: Loyd Lee Wills, Jr. and wife Connie Jo of Bloomfield, Missouri, John Leonard Wills of Bloomfield, Missouri, James William Vaughn and wife Sue of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Richard Arthur Vaughn and wife Heather of Bloomfield, Missouri, and DeWitt Vaughn and wife Doris of Wentzville, Missouri. Her three daughters, Gloria Jean Damron and husband Ray of Guymon, Oklahoma, Becky Lee Odum of Essex, Missouri, Vicky Sharee Wilson and husband Keith of Bloomfield, Missouri, stand as testaments to her enduring love and guidance.

Geneva’s love extends beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of many. She leaves behind seventeen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren, each a living legacy of her love and compassion. In addition to her immediate family, Geneva is survived by her step-daughter, Alice Faye Vaughn of Middleton, Missouri.
