His active involvement in Forge, a men’s ministry, showcased his commitment to nurturing spiritual growth in the community.

Starting in various marketing executive roles, he traversed through different positions, leaving a mark at companies like Pepsi and The Hamilton Collection. His corporate career culminated with a role at Sears Home Improvements, demonstrating his versatility and leadership.
Leaving the corporate world, John and Janis ventured into real estate together. The couple not only worked together in this new chapter of their lives but also found joy in designing and building several homes. In 2020, they realized a long-held dream by purchasing and renovating their dream home in New Smyrna Beach, a place that held sentimental value from their dating years in college.
