Born on August 9, 1969, she was the youngest daughter of Jesse and Rebecca Hill of Wilson. Celebrating a Life Well-Lived
Services in honor of Lisa Hill Gardner will be held on Sunday, February 25, at Wilson Memorial Service – 2811 Fieldstream Dr. in Wilson, at 4:00 pm. Following the service, friends and family are invited to gather, offering solace and support during this time of grief. Burial will be reserved for immediate family, a quiet moment of reflection and remembrance.

Her years of service at Bridgestone Firestone’s medical department laid the foundation for her next venture – opening her own pet sitting business, Lady Paws Pet Care. Through this endeavor, Lisa not only provided care for animals but forged deep connections with her clients, many of whom became cherished friends. Transitioning to Truist Bank, Lisa continued to exemplify dedication, earning the admiration and respect of her coworkers in the fraud department.
A Passion for the Written Word
Lisa’s talents extended beyond the professional realm; she was an exceptionally gifted writer. Even in her college years, her works found their way into publication, a testament to her skill and creativity. Fueled by her love for writing and learning, Lisa earned both a Paralegal Degree and an Associates Degree in Writing, further enriching her passion and knowledge in these fields.
A Heart for Animals
Animals held a special place in Lisa’s heart, and her love for them knew no bounds. Over the years, she volunteered with numerous local rescue groups, offering her time and care to animals in need. Fostering dogs, cats, ferrets, and any other creature requiring a loving home, Lisa’s compassion touched the lives of countless furry friends.

A true jack of all trades, Lisa delighted in the art of DIY projects, finding joy in learning and mastering new skills. Her talents extended beyond personal projects; she generously lent her skills to organizations close to her heart, such as Together No Tether, where she contributed to building gates, embodying the spirit of community and giving back.
