On Saturday, 10th February, the community of Sharlston was shaken by the sudden loss of a bright and beloved young soul, Connor David. At the tender age of 18, Connor’s passing has left a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him.

A Life Cut Short:
Connor David’s journey through life was tragically brief, but his impact was immeasurable. Born and raised in Sharlston, he brought joy and laughter wherever he went. His vibrant spirit and infectious smile lit up the lives of his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Though his time with us was far too short, Connor’s memory will forever remain etched in our hearts.

A Loving Son and Brother:
At the center of Connor’s world were his parents, Keeley and Jamie, who adored him beyond measure. Connor shared a special bond with his family, cherishing every moment spent in their company. As a brother, he was a source of laughter, support, and unwavering love to his siblings, bringing light and warmth to their lives each day. Connor’s presence extended far beyond his immediate family, touching the lives of his grandparents, Debbie and Stuart, as well as his extended family members.
His infectious enthusiasm and genuine kindness endeared him to all who knew him, earning him a special place in the hearts of his loved ones. Whether as a nephew, cousin, or friend, Connor’s presence was a constant source of joy and comfort to those around him.

Honoring Connor’s Memory:
In accordance with Connor’s wishes, a funeral service will be held at St Luke’s the Evangelist Church, Sharlston, on Friday, 8th March, at 1:00 pm, followed by a private cremation. While we grieve the loss of our dear Connor, let us also celebrate the beautiful life he lived and the countless memories he created. In lieu of flowers, donations for Andy’s Man Club, a charity close to Connor’s heart, may be left in the donation box at the church.
