Amber’s journey was marked by resilience and courage in the face of a rare disease, HLH, and subsequent Lymphoma cancer. Despite the hardships, she fought valiantly, spending months away from her four precious children—Katleynn (16), Cody (13), Carly (8), and Hannah (3)—and her beloved husband, Jason, or Farmer J, as she affectionately called him.
A Devoted Wife and Mother
Amber’s roles were varied and significant—a devoted wife, an amazing mother, an aunt to many, a dear sister, a precious daughter, and, to many, a family photographer. Her life was a testament to love, family, and the profound impact one person can have on the lives of those around them. After a period of remission and nearly two months of being chemotherapy-free, hope blossomed that Amber was on the path to recovery. Unfortunately, recent weeks brought a decline in her health. Following medical advice, she returned to the hospital due to a low blood count, leading to a blood transfusion. Within 24 hours, an emergency surgery became necessary, and with devastating speed, we lost Amber the following morning.
