It’s Troy. Joe Byrd, a cherished person who was born on August 15, 1953, departed this world on February 16, 2024, when he was seventy years past his birth date. This memorial service celebrates the life and legacy of Troy, paying tribute to the love that he had for his family and the influence that he had on those who were in his immediate vicinity.

Early Life and Family

Troy Byrd was born to Joseph and Quida Byrd, and he was raised in a family that was very close to each other, where love and support were among the most important aspects of his upbringing. Troy had a relationship with his siblings that was unique due to the fact that he was the brother of Sheila Gilmore and Rebecca Merrill. His family was a significant contributor to the development of the compassionate and caring person that he eventually became.

Love and Marriage

Donna Merrill Byrd was the woman who would become the love of Troy’s life, and the fact that they were able to get married is evidence of the enduring power of love. The two of them worked together to create a life that was full of memories they shared, laughter, and unwavering companionship. The connection that they shared was a source of strength for both of them, and Donna was the rock that Troy relied on.

Legacy of Love

With his family, Troy found the most happiness in his life. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to his wife, Donna, and their children, Joel R. (Emily) Byrd, Jason A. (Mary) Byrd, and Joelette L. (Mark) Eubanks. He will be greatly missed by all of them deeply. Troy’s influence was felt by his sixteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren, resulting in the formation of a family tree that is founded on affection and connection.

Community and Friendships

Above and beyond being a family man, Troy was a friend to a great number of people in his community. He left an impression on the lives of a great number of people in addition to being known for his kind and friendly nature. The fact that Troy was able to cultivate long-lasting friendships and lend a helping hand made him a treasured member of the community in which he lived.
