On February 18, 2024, Anthony Patrick Charles Burtles, who had been a resident of Karachi, Pakistan prior to his passing, took his last breath. He is survived by a family that is in mourning, which includes his daughter Viva Burtles, his grandson M. Saad, and his sisters Olive Burtles and Annette McMurray. His brother, Reginald Burtles, who passed away before Anthony, was the one who passed away before him.
Funeral Arrangements
On February 19, 2024, the community will come together at Christ the King (CTK) Church to say their goodbyes to Anthony because he will be leaving. The mass that will be held in honour of the soul that has passed away will be presided over by the Parish priest, Fr. Tariq Rehmat. There will be a viewing of Anthony’s body at 2:30 p.m., and then the funeral service will begin at three o’clock in the afternoon. After his death, Anthony will be laid to rest in the Gora Qabristan cemetery.
