A Life Celebrated: Funeral Services at Zion Evangelical Church
The celebration of Jean’s life will take place on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Zion Evangelical Church, where friends and family will gather at 11 am. Pastor Jim Duncan will lead the service, offering words of comfort and remembrance. Following the service, Jean will find her resting place in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens. Jean Quint’s legacy is one of unwavering devotion to family. A retired member of Massac Unit 1, she devoted her life to caring for her children, grandchildren, and beyond. Her love knew no bounds, and her impact on the lives she touched will resonate for generations.

Beyond her roles as a mother and grandmother, Jean found fulfillment in service to her community. She dedicated her time to the COPE Food Pantry and the American Red Cross, embodying the spirit of selflessness and compassion. To pay respects to Jean Quint, friends and family are invited to the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, February 13, 2023, from 6 pm to 8 pm. On Wednesday, the visitation will continue at the church from 9 am until the funeral hour, offering an opportunity to share memories and support one another in this time of grief.
