Born on October 8, 1960, in Cleveland, Tennessee, Debbie’s journey was marked by love, laughter, and an unwavering devotion to her family. Debbie found immense joy in the simple yet profound moments of life. Weekends, in particular, became a canvas for creating cherished memories.
Whether it was dancing with family and friends or orchestrating culinary delights in the kitchen, Debbie’s weekends were a celebration of love and togetherness. Her laughter echoed through these moments, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to share the space with her.
A Music Enthusiast and a Laughter Connoisseur
Music was a constant companion in Debbie’s life—a source of solace and joy. The rhythmic melodies provided a backdrop to the dance of life she so passionately embraced. Laughter, infectious and genuine, was woven into the fabric of her being. Friends and family alike were drawn to the warmth of her laughter, making every gathering a tapestry of shared joy and camaraderie. Debbie was preceded in death by her daughter, Candace Leslie—a heartache that added a somber note to her life’s melody. Yet, even in the face of loss, Debbie’s spirit remained resilient, and her legacy continued through the love she shared with her husband, Lynn Coffey; her parents, Curtis and Brenda Crisp; her children, Brandon (Mandy) Leslie and Alivia (Jake Stafford) Coffey.
Siblings and Extended Family: The Weaving of a Tight-Knit Bond
Debbie’s journey through life was shared with her siblings, each thread in the tapestry of family contributing to the rich fabric of her existence. On Monday, February 12, 2024, a celebration of Debbie’s vibrant life will be held at Clingan Ridge Baptist Church at 7:00 pm. Prior to the service, friends and family are invited to gather between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to share stories, memories, and find solace in each other’s company.
