It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to a beloved member of the Wellington community, Mr. Geoffrey Drummond Plasto, affectionately known as “Geoff.” On the 30th of January 2024, at the age of 86, Mr. Plasto peacefully departed this world, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and a lifetime of cherished memories.
Mr. Plasto was more than just a name; he was a devoted husband, a loving father, and an adored Poppa. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him, but his spirit and the memories he created will forever endure.

Jane, along with their three children, Ross & Kate, Bruce & Claire, and Alison, mourn the loss of a beloved husband and father.
As a father, Mr. Plasto played an integral role in shaping the lives of his children. Ross, Kate, Bruce, and Claire were not only fortunate to have him as a parent but also as a friend and guide. His wisdom, kindness, and unwavering support laid the foundation for a close-knit family that will carry his legacy forward.

In honoring Mr. Plasto’s life, a funeral service will be held at St John the Baptist Anglican Church in Wellington on Friday, the 16th of February 2024, commencing at 10:30 am. The service will be a moment of reflection, remembrance, and celebration of a life well-lived.
