  It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Rosaleen McAlernon (née Casey) on February 2nd, 2024, at her home in 4 Maple Court, Lurgan, BT66 6EP. Rosaleen, dearly beloved wife of Oliver, and cherished mother of Jacqueline, Patricia, and the late John (R.I.P.), transitioned peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She was a beloved mother-in-law to Martin and Desmond, and a loving nanny to Daniel, Martin, James, and Aimee. 

Rosaleen McAlernon’s journey was one of love, family, and resilience. As a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, and nanny, she embraced each role with grace and dedication. Her life was woven with moments of joy, challenges faced with strength, and an unwavering commitment to those she held dear.

Rosaleen’s life was intricately entwined with the love she shared with her husband, Oliver. Following the Mass, interment will take place in St Colman’s Cemetery. In recognition of the current circumstances, Rosaleen’s Requiem Mass can be viewed on St Peter’s Church webcam, allowing those unable to attend in person to join in bidding a fond farewell.
