Elizabeth Todd Powell Obituary, A Native Of Atlanta, Georgia Has Died – Death

Tragically, our lives were altered at 7:06 p.m. on February 1, 2024. It is with great sadness that we share the news of our mother Elizabeth Todd Powell’s passing. The day will always carry the burden of grief; the anguish of this loss is beyond words. There are no adequate words to express the extent of our sorrow at this time.

An Eternal Bond

The beloved Lizzie Belle was more than a mother; she was the very essence of who we were as a family. Every part of our lives was brightened by her presence and the love that she radiates. To put into words the depth of our feelings for her would be an injustice. Her love was the foundation upon which we were built, and we will never be the same without her.

Rememberances That Last

In the midst of our loss, we find comfort in the many cherished memories we shared with Lizzie Belle. A life well-lived is a tapestry that includes joy, sorrow, success, and failure. These recollections will last a lifetime. The times we shared will live on, a memorial to a life well-lived and treasured, even though she is no longer physically here.

Being away from the body is being with the Lord

Finding comfort in the belief that being absent from the body is to be present with the Lord helps us grapple with the pain of separation. Rest easy, Lizzie Belle. We find solace in knowing that she is back with her beloved Trio—Teddy, Danikas, and their little girl Angela, whom they call Runt, Poot, and Baby—and that she has found peace. I pray that they are able to rest peacefully in God’s arms forever.

The Divine Shares a Mother’s Love

We give thanks to God from the bottom of our hearts for blessing us with Elizabeth Todd Powell. She lovingly and gracefully juggled the roles of daughter, mother, and friend. Even though we loved her very much, the Creator loved her the most, and we are grieving because of this. She gains wings—a celestial transformation that leaves us in awe—as she journeys from this earthly realm to the heavenly abode.

Three Angels: Won and Lost

Another angel joins our family as our mother takes flight to heaven. The three people she loved most—Teddy, Danikas, and Angela—are now guarding us from on high. Her soul continues to move through this community of love, illuminating our paths and providing solace when we are sad.
