In Kirksville, Missouri, on July 19, 1981, his parents, Terry and Anita (Fisher) Smith, became parents for the first time. They welcomed their son TJ into the world. During his formative years, TJ was an active member of both the 4-H and the FFA organizations. Furthermore, he was a member of the graduating class of 1999 at Linn County High School, where he attended. Following the completion of his elementary and secondary education, he started his career in the Air Force.
A Lifetime of Love and Companionship:
In the year 2002, he was dismissed from the military with distinction after having served his country. Over the course of his life, TJ has worked in a wide range of professions all the way up until the point where his health started to degrade. On the 10th of May, 2014, he and Jennifer Majors celebrated their marriage by exchanging their vows and becoming husband and wife in Jamaica. In his spare time, TJ’s favorite activities were fishing and shooting squirrels. He also enjoyed shooting squirrels. It meant the world to him that he and his family were able to catch two blue catfish in Warsaw during the summer of 2017.
Early Life and Education:
He was able to do this with the help of his family. He had a passion for classic autos and would frequently ride in the semi-truck that belonged to his grandfather. He was a fan of vintage automobiles. It is a shared interest between him and his wife that they like going to concerts and traveling together.
Due to the fact that TJ was a pleasant and laid-back individual, there was never a position in which he could be relied upon. He never failed to find a way to provide for his family, regardless of his condition of health, because he placed a high priority on them. His family was highly important to him.

Survived by Beloved Relatives:
Supporting his children’s activities was something that brought him a great deal of joy, and he never missed a single game of either football or hockey that his children participated in. His presence will be sorely missed by all of us. His wife, Jennifer Smith, his children Haylee Smith, Lucas Smith, and Mayson Smith, his step-children Kenya Moallin and Shido Moallin, his parents, Terry and Anita Smith, his sister, Clarrisa Smith, his brother-in-law, David (Sam) Majors, his sister-in-law, Sherrie (Monte) Mathews, his mother-in-law, Marian Chesrown, his nieces Annamarie Smith and Emily Muhs, his nephews Myles Majors and Matt Muhs, his grandmother, Mary Grosshart, and a large number of other relatives are among those who survive him.
Physical Characteristics & Distinguishing Traits:
A significant number of his relatives, as well as members of his extended family, had already passed away before he did. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, beginning at five o’clock in the afternoon and continuing until seven o’clock in the evening.
The visitation will take place at the Third Street Chapel of Dennis-Steffel-Omtvedt Funeral and Cremation Service. On Wednesday, visitation will continue at the church for a period of two hours prior to the ceremony. This will take place on Wednesday.
