Suzy (Suzanne) Ruth Smith, 62 years old, a native of Middleburg, unexpectedly went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on the 20th of January, 2024, at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Centre in Williamsport. She had been a patient there for years. That establishment was home to her as a patient.
Before she was born on April 4, 1961 in Lewisburg, she was the daughter of Melvin H. Walter (Hampton) and Doris J. Walter (Hampton), both of whom had passed away before to her birth. Her birth took place four years after her parents’ deaths. 1979 was the year that she received her diploma from Middleburg Joint High School, where she had previously completed her high school education.
Her wedding to Dean K. Smith took place on February 27, 2004, and she was the bride. The couple was wedded to each other. As a direct consequence of this determination, a union that has been in existence for practically twenty years is now considered to be officially extinct.
She is survived by her children, Alyssa and Stuart Rogers of Gillett, Zachary Royer of Hummelstown, Kayla and Jeff Stahl of Mifflinburg, and Krista and Craig Ackley of Middleburg; eight grandchildren, Londyn, Alayna and Noelle Rogers.
Kyra Frits, Camden and Ella Smith, Violet Ackley, Logan Wilson; one great-grandson, Braylen Holt; two brothers, Philip and Robin Walter of Mifflinburg and Calvin and Cindy Walter of Troxelville; and many special nieces and nephews and their families.
Her daughter, Courtney Ann Royer, who was stillborn, as well as her aunt, Bernice Walter, and her uncles, Sterryl, Dale, and Harold Walter, all passed away before she did. Her daughter was stillborn. Her daughter did not survive the birth.
