Orville, aged 86, passed away on the morning of January 20, 2024, at the home of his son and daughter-in-law in Grand Forks, ND. Orville’s life will be celebrated in a funeral service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at First Lutheran Church in Karlstad. Visitation will precede the services, beginning one hour earlier. The final resting place will be Zion Lutheran Cemetery, with military services conducted by the Karlstad American Legion Post 445 and the National Guard Funeral Honors Team. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be directed to Zion Lutheran Church, a cause close to Orville’s heart.
