After entering the roster of the University of Tennessee for the spring semester of 2021, Louisa Essuman, who is a rising star in the world of college soccer, had a huge effect from the beginning. On February 14, she made her first appearance, which was during the spring opener versus Gardner-Webb. She played for a total of 39 minutes, which marked the beginning of her bright college career.
During the game that took place on February 20 versus App State, Essuman achieved a significant milestone by scoring her first goal of her professional career, which resulted in a spectacular 7-0 win.
Because she was able to find the net from a distance of six yards and place the ball into the top shelf, the goal was a demonstration of her talent and accuracy. Prior to earning a name for herself at the university level, Essuman distinguished herself by going to Hotchkiss School in Lakeville,
Connecticut, where she was named an All-American three times during her high school years. She became a member of the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana in May 2013, making her one of the first female members of the academy.
She has made a substantial contribution to the overall accomplishments of the school. During the 2017 season, Essuman was a crucial member of the squad that led the academy to its first entry in a European event as well as its triumph at Denmark’s Cup No. 1.
