As a resident of Rib Lake, Sarah J. Peterson-Thiel passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at the age of 78. She was receiving care from Hope Hospice at the time of her passing. In the moments leading up to her dying, she was encircled by her loved ones.
The Hemer-Pickerign Funeral Home in Rib Lake will be the location of the funeral service for Sarah, which will take place on the morning of Saturday, July 8, 2023, at eleven o’clock in the morning.
During the event, Pastor Bob Giese will serve as the presider. At a later date, the burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery. The location have not yet been determined. On the Saturday, July 8, 2023, visitation will begin at nine o’clock in the morning and continue until the time of the service at eleven o’clock. The funeral home is located in Rib Lake and is owned and operated by Hemer-Pickerign Funeral Home.
On October 3, 1944, Keith and Selma (Blank) Beam became parents for the first time. They welcomed their daughter Sarah into the world. Edward Paul Peterson, whom she had entered into a marriage with, was the one who passed away before she did.
In addition to working as a cook at Tombstone, Florena’s Supper Club, Mr. B’s, Meadow Farms, Marathon Cheese, and Weather Shield, she was a hard worker who had roles at all of these establishments.
In addition to that, she was employed at Weather Shield as a security guard. In addition to that, she also ran a business from which she mowed lawns. Her hobbies were gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed spending her spare time with her parents and siblings. She was a kind and generous person who took great joy in taking care of other people by her side.
