For your information, my name is Melissa Berthelot, and I am Kathryn’s sister. Anyone who wishes to make a contribution towards the costs of her funeral can do so through this fund. The smile that she wore was a blessing to anybody who came into contact with her.
It saddens my heart that I will never be able to hear her voice again or have the opportunity to see that lovely grin again. She was a shining star that was taken away from us far too soon.
Being a mother of three children and an incredible woman, she put in an incredible amount of effort. Over and over again, it appeared that children were drawn to her. It was a wonderful experience to see her interact with my child; she is a natural mother. She was a fantastic cook; she would simply whip things up without using a recipe, and she would make them taste amazing each and every time.
When I was going through some of the most difficult periods in my life, she was always there for me. Even if she couldn’t be there with me, she would blow up my phone or my husband’s phone to make sure I was okay.
Regardless of the situation, she had the ability to make me laugh, even through the ridiculous gifs that she would send. Everyone could not have asked for a better sister than she was. The combination of her bright personality and contagious grin ensured that she was usually surrounded by a large number of friends. A lot of people are going to miss her very much. No one on this planet will ever be able to fill the shoes that you have left behind, sister. Just one more hug, one more “hey melis,” one more whatever… I wish I could have just one more of everything.
There is no information regarding the date of the funeral at this time; I will provide an update once I have confirmed the date. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who was a part of her life.
She created a lot of unforgettable moments with a lot of different people; please remember to keep them near to your heart and cherish them. Please feel free to post any photographs that you have of her that you do not mind sharing with others.
