We are deeply saddened to inform you of the demise of Father Michael Wild, a revered spiritual leader who was the pastor of St. Joe’s from 2011 to 2016. His passing has left us with a great sense of loss. The unshakable devotion that Father Wild had for his congregation, as well as the tremendous impact that he had on the town, will be remembered with a great deal of reverence.
Father Michael Wild became more than just a religious figure during his time as pastor at St. Joe’s; he became a pillar of strength, compassion, and leadership for the community. During his stint at St. Joe’s, he served as the pastor. Those who had the honour of knowing him were left with an everlasting impression on their hearts as a result of his unwavering dedication to promoting a feeling of unity, faith, and love.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and the parishioners of St. Joe’s who are mourning the loss of a spiritual leader, mentor, and friend. The news of Father Wild’s departure is reverberating throughout the community, and we are thinking specifically of and praying for them.
When information regarding a funeral liturgy becomes available, it will be shared with the community. This will provide an opportunity for the community to gather together and commemorate the life of a man who devoted his life to serving the needs of others.
The memory of Father Michael Wild’s persuasive sermons, his caring leadership, and the countless lives he touched throughout his time at St. Joe’s will continue to shine as a testament to the legacy that he left behind.
A hole has been left in our hearts as a result of his departure; however, the lessons he taught and the sense of community that he fostered will live on as a monument to a life that was lived while being of service to others.
