On January 20, 2024, beloved Wichita, Kansas citizen Chad Meyer passed away at the age of 42, leaving a grieving community in his wake. Friends, relatives, and acquaintances alike will feel a great loss left by his sudden departure.
The community gathers together to memorialise a guy who touched many people’s lives as word of his passing spreads. Chad Meyer was a well-known Wichita native who was renowned for his contagious laugh, friendly disposition, and sincere friendliness.
He had an infectious enthusiasm for life and a way of making everybody around him feel special. He left a lasting impression on everyone who was lucky enough to come into his path.
His sudden death has created a void in the close-knit community, forcing many to deal with the loss of a family member, friend, and coworker. A Rosary is planned at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Andale on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in remembrance of Chad.
Friends and relatives will have the chance to join in prayer during this sombre assembly, finding strength and consolation in one other’s company. A final farewell to a beloved member of the community will be given at a funeral mass on January 26, 2024, also at St. Joseph Catholic Church, starting at 10:00 am. Entrusted with managing the funeral plans, Downing & Lahey Mortuary – West Chapel will make sure that Chad’s departure is accompanied by the honour and respect he so richly deserves.
The memories of Chad Meyer will live on as the community comes together to say goodbye to a beloved person. They are a monument to a life well-lived and a legacy that will never cease to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
