Timothy Laver Obituary, Learn More About Timothy Laver Death

 The community is mourning the sudden and profound loss of Timothy James Laver, who passed away unexpectedly on January 13, 2024, at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie. At the age of 56, Tim’s departure has left a void that will be deeply felt by his family, friends, and the community he touched with his warmth and kindness.

Tim was born on January 23, 1967, in Cooksville, Ontario, and spent his life spreading joy and making a positive impact on those around him. His memory will forever be cherished by his mother, Laurella Laver of Bracebridge, and his brother George (Laura), also of Bracebridge. While he is predeceased by his father Norman Laver, Tim leaves behind a legacy of love and connection that will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.

A beloved member of the community, Tim was not only a cherished family member but also a dear friend to many. His infectious smile and generous spirit endeared him to everyone he encountered, leaving a lasting impression that will endure in the memories of those fortunate enough to have shared moments with him.

Tim’s impact extended beyond his immediate family and friends; he was a valued member of Empower Simcoe, where he formed strong bonds with both staff and residents. His compassionate nature and willingness to lend a helping hand left an indelible mark on the organization, making him an integral part of the Empower Simcoe family.

To honor and celebrate Tim’s life, a visitation will be held at the Paul F. Kent Funeral Home, 16 King Street, North, Cookstown, on Friday, January 26, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will follow promptly at 2:00 p.m. This gathering will provide an opportunity for friends, family, and community members to come together, share memories, and offer support to one another as they navigate through the grieving process.

During this difficult time, the thoughts and prayers of the community are with Tim’s family and friends. His legacy of kindness and compassion will live on, and his memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in eternal peace.
