It is with great regret that I must inform you of the passing of Tara Gluski, who was not only a lovely friend but also a member of the group and an instructor. Thank you for your time and consideration. I must break this news to you with a heavy heart since it is something that I must do. In the region of Van Riper Park, Tara was involved in a serious car accident with another vehicle last evening.
The accident took occurred in the vicinity of the park. I am unable to even begin to count all of the years that Tara has served on our BOW Programme Committee because she has been a member of the committee for such a long period of time. Winter survival, trekking, backpacking, and winter shelters are just few of the winter activities that she teaches as a teacher.
She also teaches a wide variety of other winter activities that take place. In terms of the number of women that she has taught, I am unable to even begin to count this number. I am completely overwhelmed by the situation.
Not just the people who are a member of our organisation, but also the people who live in her town, will miss her a great deal. Her influence will be felt by all of them.
She found a great deal of fulfilment in the act of sharing her expertise and experience in the natural world with other people, and she had a heart that was generous. Due to the fact that she has transitioned into the role of Outdoors Woman, the state of Michigan will miss her very much. You deserve to have a restful night, Tara.
