I want to express my deepest condolences to you on the passing of Suzan Birdsall, who was involved in a horrific accident that ultimately led to her death. During her dying moments, Diana passed away at 16:46 p.m. this afternoon. She was accompanied by her loving family at the time of her passing.
I am completely and utterly heartbroken by the notion that I am compelled to communicate the information to each and every one of her close friends in this manner.
That a significant number of you were familiar with her and held her in high regard is something that I have come to realise. I would be grossly understating the situation if I were to say that I am completely sad.
My feelings are entirely devoid of any hope. We became such fantastic friends by leaning on one another when we needed to or simply getting drunk even when we didn’t need to. Both of these things contributed to our mutual support. Due to the fact that we were so close, we became like a family.
The time had passed for more than 10 years since Suzan had begun working with her, and over that span of time, we had grown into such effective coworkers. Since I am going through the same kind of shock that you are all going through right now, that is all I have to say at this moment. I have no words to express how I feel.
The fact that I went to see her in the hospital and informed her about everything that was going on in the club was a wonderful experience, and it was extremely amazing to see how she responded to some of the memories that we shared despite the fact that she was in the hospital. It was successful for me to connect with her on a deeper level with my capacity to connect with her.
