Sarah Gaffner Obituary Fruitport MI, Sarah Gaffner Has Died – Death

On Saturday, January 6, 2024, Sarah Wrinkles, who was 43 years old and lived in Fruitport, passed away unexpectedly. She graduated from Grand Haven High School, where she was a member of the varsity basketball team, and Central Michigan University, where she obtained a degree in communications and marketing.

She was born on June 16, 1980, in Grand Haven, and her parents were Ronald Gaffner and Christine Campbell Baker.

Sarah had a passion for exploring new places, taking photographs, engaging in fashion, and discovering beauty in the most unusual of settings and experiences. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, but the time she spent with her children was the most important thing in her life.

Her children will miss her very much. They have many family traditions that we will do all in our power to continue, including but not limited to snow skiing, visits to Chicago and New York, time spent in Frankfort and Watervale, and many more special experiences that they will treasure forever.

Her elegance and grace will be difficult to overshadow, and her beauty was palpable both on the inside and the outside. In addition to her children, Jameson and Lila Wrinkles, she is survived by her parents, Christine and Bruce Baker, as well as Ronald and Nadine Gaffner; her siblings, Anne Baker and Dan Baker; her stepsiblings, Robin Peterson, Chuck (Heidi) Fritz, Ron (Jenny) Fritz, and Tracey (Duane) Borsvold; her former husband, Joe Wrinkles; her niece Olivia Baker; and a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

On Sunday, January 21, 2024, from one to four o’clock in the afternoon, there will be a celebration of life held at the event room located on the upper floor of Porto Bello in Grand Haven. We would want to extend an invitation to you to spend the morning of her birthday honouring Sarah in any way that finds significance to you.

This could include praying, sitting or screaming in the woods, loving your loved ones, or finding a peaceful place in your heart. You are welcome to make memorial contributions in Sarah’s honour to the Momentum Centre Capital Campaign Fund or to any other local social justice cause that you feel strongly about or have a passion for.
