An adoring wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Pamela Pearl Anderson died away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 74. She was a multi-faceted individual. At 10:30 in the morning on Saturday, November 4, a memorial ceremony will be conducted at Steele United Methodist Church, which is located at 102 2nd Street Southwest in Steele, North Dakota. ‘Pam’ Pearl Dougherty, Pamela, was the first of five children and possessed a lively spirit.
She received her high school diploma from Mandan High School, and later in life, she pursued a degree in education from the University of Mary. Her passion for study led her to this decision. the east
Their wedding took place on December 15th, 1967, when she wed MJ ‘Bud’ Anderson. Due to the fact that she was a skilled barrel racer and frequently sang the national anthem, they spent a number of years travelling throughout the rodeo circuits.
Although she was actively involved in the church, her passion for music and her faith were inextricably linked to one another. Pamela donated her time as a pianist, as well as a teacher of Sunday school and Bible school, and as a participant and teacher of Bible study. Because she had a strong desire to learn about and follow God, her faith remained unshaken throughout her life.
In the ten years that followed, Pam and Bud were blessed with the birth of their first of three children. They then relocated to Steele, where Pam established herself as a prominent member of the community by teaching, attending church, and working as an emergency medical technician. She had a deep appreciation for the countryside and the agricultural lifestyle. Horses were the ones that provided her the most happiness, but horses were the ones that won her heart. She shared this passion with her husband and their children.
Her summers were spent supervising the operations of Family Affair Gardens. She had a true green thumb, and she took great satisfaction in the organically grown vegetables that she sold, as well as the creative crafts that she would offer, which included making dried flower masterpieces and pumpkin paintings.
