On December 18, 2023, Mike Vernon, who had lived in Smiths Grove for his whole life and had reached the age of sixty at the time of his passing, died away in a calm and affectionate manner at his residence.
He had spent his entire life in Smiths Grove. Throughout his entire life, he had been a resident of Smiths Grove. Through the entirety of his life, the people who were closest to him were the ones he cared about the most.
The individual who was born and raised in Barren County is the child of Lawrence Vernon McCoy and Murline Johnson McCoy, who are the parents of the individual. She is the individual’s mother. She is the mother. To this day, each and every one of these McCoys is still among the living.
Those individuals who are thought of as the individual’s parental figures are being taken into consideration during this process. In addition to being a member of the Shiloh General Baptist Church, which he visited on occasion, he worked as a cattle mover at his place of employment. He also attended the church on occasion.
Consequently, he utilised his skills in this capacity in order to gain success. The following people will carry on his legacy: his high school sweetheart and wife of forty years, Sharon Vernon; three daughters, Whitley Vernon Rich (Jarred), Madison Vernon Bell (Thomas), and Jessica Vernon Baston (Trey); six grandchildren, Oakley, Raylan, Jackie, Emory, Kenton, Franklin, and a baby boy named Bell who will be arriving soon; two brothers, Mitchell Vernon (Sideana) and Jeff Vernon (Jamie); two sisters, Shanna Kozak (Bryan) and Sara Goad (Jason); and a number of nieces and nephews.
