The 15th of December, 2023 was the day that Thomas Edwin Day, who had lived in Alpharetta, Georgia all his life and had reached the age of 94 at the time of his dying, passed away.
There was a period of time when he was regarded to be a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge, which was an additional accomplishment on his list of many accomplishments.
He was recognised for his kindness and his dedication to all he came into contact with, and he was a friend to a vast number of individuals from many walks of life. Adding insult to injury, he was a devoted supporter of the Georgia Tech football team during his entire life.
A number of people are left behind, such as his sister, Mary Jean Hay, who resides in Cumming; his brother and sister-in-law, Charles E. and Carolyn Day, who are in Canton, Georgia; and his nieces and nephews. All of these individuals are left behind.
Under the assumption that everything goes according to plan, the funeral services are set to take place in the chapel of the Ingram Funeral Home on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 2:00 PM. Furthermore, the Reverend Bud Sutton will act as the ceremony’s presider all throughout its entirety.
Immediately following this, the burial will take place at the cemetery that is owned and operated by the Hopewell Baptist Church. To meet and greet friends, it is planned that the family will be present on Monday between the hours of 1:00 and 2:00. This will allow them to meet and greet people.
