Tom’s untimely passing on January 16th, 2024, at his residence following an accident, has left a void in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him.
Tom, predeceased by his parents Valentine and Catherine, sister Helen, brother James, brother-in-law Mike Fitzgibbon, niece Catherine Richardson, and nephew Noel Fitzgibbon, leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to have been touched by his presence.
A beloved husband to Eleanor, née Hennessy of Mitchelstown, and a much-loved father to Elaine and Melissa, Tom’s devotion to his family was evident in every aspect of his life.
The news of his passing has left his heartbroken family, including his brother Richie and sisters Ann (Allen), Betty (Taylor), Catherine (Fitzgibbon), Emma (Richardson), Rita (Walsh), and Veronica (Childs), in deep mourning. In addition to his immediate family, Tom’s absence will be felt by his extended family, including his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbors, and a vast circle of friends. The outpouring of sympathy from the community serves as a testament to the impact Tom had on the lives of those around him.
