Born on October 2, 1942, in Monticello, NY, Sue was the daughter of the late Herbert and Ellen Race Everett. Her life was a tapestry of love, family, and unwavering dedication to those she held dear. Sue’s journey began in Monticello, where she was raised and later graduated from S.H.S.

Her roots and upbringing shaped her into the compassionate and caring woman she became. On November 4, 1961, she embarked on a lifelong journey with her best friend and companion, Charles R. “Dick” VanDusen, in Lowman.
