Virginia “Faye” Robinson, who was 80 years old and lived on Leading Creek Road in Montrose, West Virginia, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at her residence. She was receiving care from West Virginia Caring Hospice at the time of her passing. The daughter of the late Paul Crawford, Sr. and Pearl Steiber Crawford, she was born on April 22, 1943 in Covington, Virginia.
Her parents have now passed away. In Covington, Virginia, on December 2, 1959, she tied the knot with Paul David Robinson, who passed away on December 8, 2019, before she did. Among the members of her immediate family, she was the only one who had survived.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Lee Robinson-Wright, who resides in Holladay, Tennessee; her five grandkids, Justin Paul Robinson, Samantha Jade Armentrout, Taylor Edwards, Kadie Charles, and Casey Wright; and her one and only son, Justin Paul Robinson. In addition, she is survived by a number of great grandchildren as well as her dog, Rusty.
A son named Timothy P. Robinson, a daughter named Robin Lynn Irvine, three brothers named Paul Crawford, Jr., Alfred Crawford, and Leo Crawford, and a sister named Edith Summers all passed away before her. Her parents and husband were also among those who preceded her in death.
Faye was a homemaker who put in a lot of effort in everything that she went through. She had a deep affection for animals, was a passionate gardener, and had been a home goods maker for a considerable amount of time.
She was a member of the Orlena United Methodist Church, which is now known as the Orlena Global Methodist Church. Faye was a member of this church. On Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at twelve o’clock noon, there will be a service held at the graveside in the Maplewood Cemetery located in Elkins, West Virginia.
