In the quiet town of Woodbury, a sense of sorrow and disbelief hangs heavy as the community mourns the sudden and tragic passing of Henry Parker Campos, a vibrant 14-year-old whose zest for life left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him. In the early hours of a Saturday morning, Henry’s journey on this earth was abruptly cut short due to injuries sustained in a devastating automobile accident.
Henry, a freshman at Woodbury High School, was more than just a student; he was a young soul brimming with passion and vitality. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, relishing moments on the basketball court, soccer field, and immersing himself in the world of gaming.
A Companion in Furry Love
In the tapestry of Henry’s life, one constant thread was the love he shared with his 12-year-old dog, Honey Girl. She wasn’t just a pet but a cherished companion who stood by his side through thick and thin. Their bond symbolized loyalty, love, and the comfort of having a constant friend in the ups and downs of adolescence. Henry’s infectious laughter and playful nature earned him the reputation of being a “big cut-up.” He approached life with a lighthearted spirit, finding joy in laughter and spreading happiness to those around him. His ability to enjoy life to the fullest left an enduring impact on everyone fortunate enough to share moments with him.
A Precious Birth and a Painful Loss
Henry Parker Campos came into this world on April 27, 2009, in Smyrna, Tennessee, a bundle of joy welcomed into the Helton family. His journey, however, took an unforeseen turn as he left this world too soon. In the heartbreaking tapestry of his life, he is preceded in death by his grandmother, Hilda Ashburn Adkins.
A gathering of friends, family, and community members will offer an opportunity to share fond remembrances of Henry and find solace in each other’s company. The poignant ceremony will be followed by a burial in Peeled Chestnut, marking the final chapter in Henry’s earthly journey.

Also grieving are his grandfather, Darrell Eugene Adkins of Smithville, aunts Shaundra (Kenny) Cantrell of Smithville, Audrey Brown of Woodbury, and Amy Davis of Smithville.
