Donald participated in the United States Army during World War II and graduated from Pana Township High School. He also served in the military. With the exception of the time he spent serving in the military, he had spent his whole life in Pana. A retired farmer.
Donald was also a member of the Christian County Farm Bureau, which was affiliated with the United in Faith Church. Both reading and rearing Registered Polled Hereford cattle were activities that he enjoyed.

Info Regarding the Funeral On Friday, December 11, 2015, at eleven o’clock in the morning, funeral services will be place at United In Faith Church in Pana. The Reverend Robert A. Miner will preside over the ceremony. The burial will take place at the Linwood Cemetery in Pana. The church will be open for visitors on Friday from ten o’clock in the morning until the start of the service.
