Pat Jamison, well known as Pea Jay to his friends, was born on April 10th, 1952 in the city of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to Stan and Arlene Jamison. He graduated from Central Valley High School in 1970 after spending his formative years in Coeur d’Alene, Kennewick, Washington, and the Spokane valley. He was born and raised in Seattle. Although there are many who believe that he spent more time during his senior year at Post Falls High than he did at CV.
After working for a period of time on the North Slope in Alaska, Pat went on to work for the family firm, Y-J Foods, until it decided to close its doors in the year 1992. The remaining years of his professional life were spent working in the construction and logging industries as a heavy equipment operator.
After getting married to Robyn Hammrich in 1982, Pat went on to have two children: Michelle and Ryan. A divorce was ultimately finalised in that marriage.
After that, Pat got back in touch with an old acquaintance named Maxine Thompson, and the two of them eventually became life partners and have been together for the past 26 years. Camping, horseback riding, cutting firewood, and rafting on the CDA, St. Joe, and Moyie rivers were among of the activities that Max and Pat enjoyed doing together.
Pat’s favourite things to do were to have a few beers and to assist everyone who asked for his assistance. One of the most memorable moments in Pat’s life was when he finally got to meet his granddaughter, Arya Maisie.
Pat is survived by his life partner Maxine, who lives with him at their home, his children Michelle (Michael) Jarvis and Ryan Jamison, his stepdaughter Sammi (Carey) Schorzman, his granddaughter Arya Maisie, his mother Arlene Jamison, his brothers Danny and Mike Jamison, his close friends John Nichols and Tim Gryphon, and a large number of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
His grandfather and grandmother, Moose and Neita Jamison, as well as his father, Stanley Jamison Jr., passed away before him. Grace Shriner was his grandmother.
