Another victim has gone away ten days after a school shooting in Perry, Iowa, which resulted in the death of a sixth grader and injured seven other students is still ongoing. On Sunday morning, the family of Perry High School Principal Dan Marburger communicated the news of his passing through the website GoFundMe. They expressed their gratitude to him for providing them with “ten days that that we will treasure forever.”
He was the second person to lose their life as a result of the shooting that took place at Perry High School. He passed away on January 14 at around eight o’clock in the morning.Marburger was a hero for his actions during the shooting, which earned him the respect of his peers and earned him nearly three decades of service at the school. On the day of the shooting, his daughter, Claire Marburger, commented on her father’s conduct by posting a post on Facebook where she shared her thoughts.
“As I heard of a gunman, I instantly had a feeling my Dad would be a victim as he would put himself in harms way for the benefit of the kids and his staff,” according to the article. It prevented the loss of some lives.” Additionally, Wicks recognised an associate principal with the ability to save lives.
