It was on Tuesday, October 25th, 2022 when Peter James Braffitt, who was 54 years old and lived in Florence, South Carolina, passed away abruptly. The 8th of April, 1968 found Peter Braffitt being born in Nashua, New Hampshire to his parents, Paulette and Peter Braffitt. Peter joined AIRMAR Technology in 1987, following his time spent serving in the United States Army.
Following a brief period of time spent operating his own company, Peter eventually returned to AIRMAR in the role of Sales Manager. He eventually rose through the ranks to become Vice President of AIRMAR and Director of Gemeco Marine Accessories, which is headquartered in Lake City, South Carolina.
In addition to serving on the board of directors of the National Marine Electronics Association, Peter became well-known for his extensive knowledge and expertise, which earned him a great deal of admiration and respect within the marine sector.
Since he was a boy, Peter has been a self-taught mechanic and a passionate enthusiast of all things related to automobiles. Peter started out by constructing model automobiles when he was a child. eventually on, he became the owner of his own Snap-On Tools franchise and eventually operated a firm that specialised in auto performance polishing and modifications.
Under his bed, when he was a young teenager, he even kept brand new tyres and rims, putting them away for the fateful day when he would be able to drive. Peter’s high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Tracy Lynn Tanguay Braffitt, was the person he met when he was 17 years old.
They co-parented three lovely children and reared them together. In addition to being an expert artisan, Peter was particularly skilled in the art of woodworking. He was passionate about fishing and boats in general.
The ability to sketch designs and blueprints was one of his many talents, and he delighted in putting these abilities to use in the process of designing and enhancing his own home.
Peter had the good fortune to have been able to travel much throughout his work; nevertheless, he also cherished the time he spent at home, where he could take pleasure in the life he had created for himself and his family. To say that Peter was proud of his children and all of their achievements would be an understatement.
