Patricia Burke Obituary, Resident of Belmar New Jersey Has Died – Death

Patricia Jean “Patti” Burke (nee Whooley) passed away peacefully on July 25, 2023, her 68th birthday. Patti was born in Chicago to the late Richard and Marilyn (Rauen) Whooley. She married her best friend, Tim, in 1981 and had three sons Tim (Angela), Dan (Stephanie) and Brendan (Lauren).

Patti was the proud Grandma to Nora, Emma, Mick and Flynn. Patti is survived by her four sisters known to many as “the Whooley Sisters”, Mary, Kathy, Karen and Ellen and brother Jim. She was the much loved aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Charades partner to an army of great nieces and nephews. Patti was a graduate of St. Barnabas and Mother McAuley where she made friendships that lasted a lifetime.

A longtime Beverly resident, she most recently lived in Long Beach, IN where she enjoyed monitoring the resident wildlife and leading everyone out of the house to observe various phases of super moons.

Affectionately, dubbed “Patti Plaid,” she never met a plaid she didn’t like. She was the life of the party and enjoyed showing off her unique flavor of dance moves, singing along to songs, and occasionally making up her own lyrics. She had many, many “favorite songs”. She was a lively storyteller and made every stranger feel welcome.
