Greg Linscott Obituary, Honoring The Memory Of Greg Linscott – Death

The unexpected passing of Greg Linscott Sr. on Wednesday evening has left a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. After 38 years of creating a life filled with love and laughter alongside his wife, he leaves behind a legacy of devotion, family values, and a profound impact on those who had the privilege of being a part of his life. Greg, a dedicated family man, raised three sons Greg Jr., Rob, and Mitch and welcomed three grandchildren—Brice, Grace, and Riley into his loving embrace. His bond with his brother Gary Linscott and the extensive network of cousins, nieces, and nephews from the extended Linscott/Kirouac family further showcased the strong ties that Greg held with those around him.

Throughout his 38 years of marriage, Greg worked tirelessly on various union jobs around the New England area, leaving an indelible mark in his professional endeavors. With a background in surveying work, Greg’s commitment to providing for his family knew no bounds. His willingness to go above and beyond for his loved ones became a hallmark of his character. Greg’s love for family extended beyond the workplace, as he never missed a fishing derby or a baseball/softball game involving his sons or grandchildren. An avid music lover, Greg spent many years playing the electric guitar with friends, creating memories that resonated with those fortunate enough to share those moments with him.

The family is now grappling with the devastation of his unexpected departure, and in lieu of flowers, they kindly request donations to be directed towards the plumbing program at Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School, located at 80 Locust St, Northampton, MA. Greg’s proudest moments were witnessing his three sons graduate from the plumbing department at Smith Voc, making this a meaningful way to honor his memory.

Greg Linscott Sr. was a man of wisdom, and his sayings like “don’t sweat the small stuff; tomorrow’s another day” and “never give up; you can get through anything” will forever echo in the minds of his children and grandchildren.

In a world that will miss his presence, let us celebrate the life of Greg Linscott Sr., remembering the joy, love, and invaluable lessons he shared with those fortunate enough to call him family.
