For the purpose of remembering and paying tribute to the life of my uncle Gavin Scott, who was a much-loved husband, father, and friend, we have gathered collectively with heavy hearts. In a horrific accident that occurred while Gavin was snowboarding, his love for life and his spirit of adventure were tragically cut short. He left behind his husband Beth and their daughter Ella, who are both in mourning.
As we make our way through this trying period, we are reaching out to our community in the hopes of receiving assistance in reducing the financial load that has been brought on by this catastrophe that was completely unanticipated.
Through this GoFundMe campaign, the monies that are raised will directly contribute to assisting Gavin’s family in coping with the urgent obstacles that they are currently facing. These issues include the expenses associated with medical care and the pressing requirements of everyday life. Additionally, the funds will hopefully be used to establish a fund for Ella’s future education.
A hole has been created as a result of Gavin’s passing that cannot be filled, but if we work together, we have the ability to make a difference in the lives of the people he loved the most.
During this difficult time, any donation, regardless of its size, will be a genuine gesture that will bring comfort and support to his wife and daughter. Additionally, it will let the family to grieve without the additional stress of growing expenses, which will allow them the time and space they require.
Gavin’s goodness was obvious in every location he visited. In his capacity as a physician assistant at UCHealth, he left an indelible impression not just on the medical community but also on each and every one of his patients.
His infectious sense of humour and genuine concern for each and every person he came in contact with won the hearts of all those who knew him, whether it was through the hospital, the community of his church, or as friends or family.
