At Cedar Crest Assisted Living, on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, race L. Miller, who was 96 years old, passed away before his colleagues. The 29th of November, 1925 found her being born in Hinsdale, Illinois. Her parents, Arthur and Grace Droegemueller, were her parents.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and business from Cornell College, where she studied. That day, August 19, 1947, Grace tied the knot with Charles A. Miller. It was in 1958 when they relocated to Janesville, where they brought up their four children.
From the time Chuck passed away on October 12, 1981, they had been together for a total of 34 years. Grace participated in a variety of activities at Mount Zion United Methodist Church, including teaching Sunday school and participating on a number of committees.
During her time with the Stateline Literacy Programme, which was a programme aimed to educate adults how to read, she was also a trainer of tutors for the organisation. She was highly involved with the programme. Additionally, Grace was an active member of P.E.O. and held the position of state president, which she held in 1972.
Grace is survived by her four children, Steven Miller (and his wife Susan), Carol Weberpal (and her husband Andy), Charlie Miller (and his wife Tari), and ten grandchildren, including Dr. Jennifer George (and her husband Chris), Peter Miller (and his wife Jennifer), Becky Brandenburg, Eric Stener (and his wife Rachel), Edwin Miller (and his wife Rachel), David Miller (and his wife Noel), Sarah Paulus (and her husband James), Annie Corbin (and her husband Kris), Charlie Miller, and Andy Miller (and his wife Hannah).
Additionally, Grace is survived by nine great grandchildren, including Thomas Miller, Anthony and Andrew George, Cayden Brandenburg, Zach and Eli Paulus, Jordan Miller, Henry Miller, and Colton Stener, as well as a large number of other family and friends.
Over the course of the month of October, Grace was eagerly anticipating the arrival of her first two great granddaughters. Those who came before her in death are her parents.
