Michael John McKay, who had attained the age of 68 at the time of his passing, passed away on September 5, 2020. His passing occurred, as stated in the previous sentence. His final resting place was at the Baltimore Washington Medical Centre in Glen Burnie, which is also the location of his passing.
Within the city of Cumberland, he was born on March 27th, 1952. The deaths of his mother, Betty Jane McKay (True), and his father, Cyril James McKay, Jr., occurred prior to the birth of their son.
The death of his mother occurred about the time that he was developing into an adult. At this point in time, it is no longer possible to offer any hope of saving his parents.
Michael’s legacy will be carried on by his wife, Patricia McKay, his daughter Jennifer Disney and her husband Christopher, his grandchildren Bennett and Joseph Disney, who affectionately referred to him as their Geezer, his sister Catherine Nearhoof and her husband Bill, a large number of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and his grandfather, Bailey.
All of these individuals are able to carry on Michael’s legacy. Each of these people is capable of carrying on Michael’s legacy in their own unique way.
Following the completion of his high school education at Fort Hill in 1970, Mike moved on to obtain employment with Pittsburgh Paint Glass and the Maryland Transportation Authority. He remained employed by both of these organisations until he reached the age of retirement. Mike eventually left both of these organisations and retired from them.
