I would like to publish a quick post regarding the following in order to provide individuals who were familiar with my parents with an important update pertaining to the following: I was saddened to learn that my father, John Alent, died away earlier than expected this morning.
having lived for 88 years at this point. By the time he finally gave in to the illness and went away, he had been battling cancer for close to eight years at that point in time. Thankfully, my father passed away in a calm and quiet manner at home, while he was sleeping.
He was surrounded by his children and Brenda, his wife of 46 years, who is also my mother. The father was encircled by his loving family. We already miss you, Dad, and we love you very dearly with all of our hearts.

The funeral service for him is planned to take place on Friday, February 2 at nine o’clock in the morning at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which can be found on Melville Road in Cheney, Washington. Currently, we are working on getting ready for the event.
In the event that anyone is interested in going, I would want to extend an invitation to participate. The golf course that was originally known as West Terrace Golf Course is located on the opposite side of the street from the chapel, which can be found on other side of the street.
