Valerie left this world on December 23, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family, at the Katharine House Hospice, at the age of 78. Valerie was more than a resident of Brackley; she was a beacon of love, kindness, and strength. In her 78 years, she touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Today, we gather to celebrate the life of a woman who was not only the beloved wife of the late John but also a loving and devoted mother to Ian and Jason.
As we reflect on Valerie’s life, we see a remarkable journey filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of family bonds. She was not only a mother but also a proud Nan to Kyran, Rhys, Max, and Liam.
The love and care she showered upon her grandchildren were a testament to the beautiful soul she was. Valerie’s funeral service is a moment for us to come together, not in sorrow, but in celebration of a life well-lived. The service will take place at St Peter’s Church in Brackley on Monday, January 15, at 2:00 pm.
