On October 16, 2023, Thomas J. Evans, who was 64 years old at the time of his death, passing away at his home in Springfield, Pennsylvania. The city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is where Tom was born and reared.
His high school graduation was from Cardinal Dougherty in 1977, and his college graduation was from LaSalle in 1981.
Tom made the most of his life while he was alive. To put it another way, he was a master of all trades. In addition to working as a dive instructor for the Tourist Diving sector in the Cayman Islands for a number of years, he also worked in the commercial deep sea diving sector on an oil rig.
McCafferty Ford in Bucks County, Pennsylvania employed him as an auto technician, and he was also a racer in the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Nevertheless, Tom’s main passion was working in emergency services. He cherished his roles as a firefighter and a paramedic.
Tom’s work as a paramedic covered over three decades and a large number of emergency medical services (EMS) squads. In addition, he was an educator for EMS. In addition to being a life member of the Nottingham Fire Department in Bensalem Township, Tom worked as a medic for Newtown Emergency Medical Services (EMS) on a full-time basis and as a medic for Warrington Community Ambulance Corps on a part-time basis.
A large number of Tom’s contemporaries saw him as an exceptional individual and the epitome of a true gentleman. They liked and adored him, and they hailed him as extraordinary.
