Wesley worked as a line technician at Hydro-Gear in Sullivan, Illinois, throughout the period that he was employed there until his departure. He was working for the company at the time. The activities of fishing, hunting, camping, playing video games, and grilling were among his most cherished pastimes.
However, he also enjoyed shooting firearms. The time that he was able to spend with his sons was the time that he valued the more than anything else.
In Rantoul, Illinois, on August 29, 2009, Wesley Keeling and Randi Welch exchanged their vows and are officially married. Both of them were present at the function that was held.
He is survived by his wife, Randi Keeling; his sons, Jayden Michael Keeling, Ryan Dean Keeling, and Jackson Shane Keeling, all of Champaign, Illinois; his mother, Patricia Keeling, of Assumption, Illinois; his grandparents, Frank and Gloria Girrulat, of Pana, Illinois; his great grandmother,
Gloria Girrulat, of Taylorville, Illinois; and his brothers, David Glen Keeling and his fiance Ashley Dial of Findlay, Illinois, and Kevin Michael Keeling and his wife Ashley, Pana, Illinois. The passing of his father, Darwin G. Glen Keeling, took place on July 31, 2010, even though he was still in the early stages of his professional career.
Before he was born, all of his family had already passed away, including his grandparents Howard and Ola Keeling, as well as his aunt Tammy Girrulat. He was the only child of any of his relatives.
