We have some unfortunate news to share with you. This morning, we learned about the passing of one of our classmates.
Robert Bailey Waldron went away peacefully in his sleep at some point between the hours of six and ten in the morning.
On Thursday, Robert suffered a heart attack and was transported to the hospital, where it was revealed that he had a complete blockage in the artery that was located in the vicinity of the back of his heart.
For a considerable amount of time, the upper portion of his heart had been deprived of blood supply. They were able to save him, and even as late as last night, he appeared to be doing well.
He went to bed at approximately 4:15 a.m., and when Pam left to go to Vanderbilt at 5:15 a.m., he was doing fine. Pam and Robert watched the National Championship, and then they watched some Western films. When his daughter arrived at six in the morning to watch after him, he was getting a good night’s sleep.
If she had gone to check on him at ten o’clock in the morning to wake him up and give him his medication, he had already passed away.
As of right now, there is no information on the funeral arrangements; the only thing I am aware of is that he will be cremated, and his ashes will be scattered at Ashland City, which is the place where he has spent the past 37 years hunting. As Pam and his family mourn the loss of Robert, please remember them in your prayers. As they go through this difficult time.
