On Wednesday, January 3, 2024, the world bid a fond farewell to a remarkable woman, Elizabeth “Betty” Jones Walker, who passed away in Midlothian, VA. Betty left this world in a peaceful and tranquil manner, surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by generations to come.  Betty was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. She touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.

Betty is survived by her three children, Chip Norford (Ann), Scott Norford, and Mary Leslie Norford (Liz Johnson). She was a source of inspiration and support for her children, guiding them through life’s challenges with love and wisdom. Betty’s influence will undoubtedly continue to shape their lives in the years to come. Her two grandchildren, Meaghan N. Clements (Drew) and Brent Norford, were blessed to have Betty as their grandmother.

Her great-grandson, Chip Palmer Clements, is a testament to the enduring legacy of love that Betty leaves behind. In addition to her immediate family, Betty is survived by her brother, Richard C. Jones, Jr., and her sister, Margaret (Peggy) J. Jones (Stuart).
