In addition to retiring from the Inland Steel Company, where he had worked for many years and received various honours for the proposals he had given to improve the efficiency of the company, he had lived in East Chicago, Indiana for a very long period.
Our father was a sweet and generous man who worked constantly to ensure that his family had everything they required. He was one of the most humorous and kind people we have ever known.
All of us looked up to him as a true example. The most significant thing about him was that he was a man of tremendous faith, and he taught us the significance of doing what is right. On Friday, November 18th, at one o’clock in the afternoon, the Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, which is located at 3510 Deodar Street in East Chicago District.
The visitation will take place in the church hall from eleven in the morning to one in the afternoon, prior to the service. At the conclusion of the mass, the cremains will be interred at Ridgelawn Cemetery, which is located at 4401 W. Ridge Rd. in Gary.
